Talking therapy
I truly believe that psychological support can make a difference in people’s lives. Dr Ray Talks Psychology was established as we recognise the importance of access to timely psychological care.
Each session of talking therapy costs £120.
Sessions will last 50 minutes. The sessions are offered in blocks of five, we go at your pace and initially think about what you would find most helpful to focus on. We know that a one-off therapy sesion may not provide enough time and stability to develop the therapeutic rapport that can be useful when discussing difficulties and also that it is common for people to attend for several sessions before finding talking therapy helpful.
Each session of supervision costs £100 per hour for individuals.
We are open to working with organisations to provide supervision to psychological professionals. Please get in contact through the enquiry contact form to discuss.
A 90 minute psychological assessment costs £250 for a comprehensive appointment, summary letter and feeback session.
We give plenty of opportunities to collaboratively review how you are finding the sessions and to make changes as appropriate. You are under no obligation to continue therapy, and can inform Dr Ray at any time if you wanted our work together to stop.
Dr Ray Talks Psychology offers a limited number of slots at subsidised rates for those who are out of work or on low incomes, as we believe excellent and readily available psychological care should be accessible to all. I actively encourage you to reach out for availability.
We understand the importance of finding a psychologist that you can connect with and feel comfortable with. We offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation call with Dr Ray to help explore what kind of support you might be looking for and to establish if we are the right service to support you or your loved one.
